Course Outcomes
  1. Performance-test the air-conditioning system.
  2. Inspect the evaporator housing water drain.
  3. Eliminate air-conditioning system odors.
  4. Identify refrigerant type.
  5. Test for leaks using a sniffer device.
  6. Perform a dye test to find a leak.
  7. Perform nitrogen testing to find a leak.
  8. Perform the reclaim process.
  9. Recycle refrigerant.
  10. Determine the need for an additional air-conditioning system filter, and perform necessary action.
  11. Inspect, test, and replace the compressor clutch.
  12. Remove, inspect, and reinstall the compressor.
  13. Remove and inspect air-conditioning mufflers, hoses, lines, and fittings.
  14. Remove, inspect, and reinstall the condenser.
  15. Remove, inspect, and install the receiver/dryer or accumulator.
  16. Remove, inspect, and install a thermal expansion valve.
  17. Remove, inspect, and install an orifice tube.
  18. Use a vacuum gauge to evacuate an air-conditioning system.
  19. Use a micron gauge to evacuate an air-conditioning system.
  20. Add oil to the air-conditioning system.
  21. Change the vacuum pump oil in an air-conditioning machine.
