For each unit of credit, a minimum of three hours per week with one of the hours for class and two hours for studying/preparation outside of class is expected.

a. Identify and interpret suspension and steering system concerns
b. Diagnose wheel/tire vibration, shimmy and noise
c. Diagnose tire pull problems
a. Diagnose power steering gear binding, uneven turning effort, looseness, hard steering and noise concerns
b. Diagnose steering column noises, looseness and binding concerns
a. Diagnose short and long arm suspension system noises, body sway and uneven ride height concerns
b. Diagnose strut suspension system noises, body sway, and uneven ride height concerns
a. Prepare vehicle for wheel alignment on the alignment machine; perform four wheel alignment by checking and adjusting front and rear caster, camber and toe settings as required.
b. Check toe out on turns as required.
