Certified Nurses Aide

Common responsibilities of a CNA include taking and recording vital signs and assisting patients with their physical needs. CNAs may perform procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse.

NR1001: CNA Refresher Course

This 10-hour CNA refresher course provides classroom and laboratory experience to update the inactive CNA. The student will discuss the nurse aide's responsibility in the current health care system and the importance of resident rights. The student will demonstrate safety measures, infection control procedures, personal care skills, measurement of vital signs and transfers, positioning and turning. 10 contact hours.
